Green ...my best guess was 11perf and only one side...non watermarks. .measured 19.5 and 20mm

Blue ...seemed it had no mark on pearl, left of the 1 and the outside markers looked shaded. Think it was a 12perf non watermarked...

Haven't looked at 3rd yet but has a state,city stamp over it...defined

Any real help with identifying these wed be nice?

The 1st stamp is from the Washington Franklin series. Appears to be a coil stamp (two parallel straight edges), Its true identity depends upon many things too numerous the detail in this response but at this link you'll find lots of information. Click Wash/Frank finder

http://stampsmarter.com/1847usa/1847Home.html

The 2nd stamp is a large banknote, same site, use the visual finder.

The 3rd stamp is Series 1902. Same site, Definitive finder.

Why make things difficult?

1. Scott 597 Fourth Bureau 1¢ coil
2. Scott 206 Re-engraved 1¢ stamp printed by the American Bank Note Company
3. Scott 300 Second Bureau 1¢ sheet stamp

The OP could have simplified matters by posting 600 DPI scans on a black background. If a camera must be used, find one with better optics that will produce large focused images. Hint: use a flash or take pictures under daylight conditions.

Owen, what am I missing? What is stamped Newark N.J. ? Also, there are no U.S. banknote stamps with a Scott number of 530.

Mm thanks a bunch...I don't know what most of that means and thought #3 was a 530 type IV ? Since you seem to be knowledgeable with these...my whole point was to figure out what to try and sell them for.....these details are unreal...with these 3 ...just guessing what wud you think realistically I can sell them for? There's only 2 stamp buyers in my area and was hoping to get ....something for them. And don't want to get screwed if I can...if you have one more thought you cud share

owenz you have put these stamps up on three different threads. They have been identified except the last N.J. precancel. One member suggested the first three were worth .10¢. Remember save the gas money? The stamps are a collectible, a hobby. There are no $$ for you here. You will be offered nothing to nickels for the 4 stamps.
