Sorry I don't have a picture,my friend has a postcard with a pair of 552's with imperf between them,I don't know if it's a $20 dollar curiosity or actually worth something ?

There side by side on the card, perf's all the way around but none in the middle between.

I know you guys can't say ya it's worth "X" dollars but is it a bit rare ?

That 552 isn't listed as imperf between, but 554a and 554b are?

It isn't listed in my old Scott Specialized (96) and not on the SwedishTiger's site. The 2c stamp of that issue is found imperf between both horizontally and vertically in enough numbers to warrant a sub listing. The same cold have occurred while perforating #552. I'd think it would be worth the $20 as an EFO if nothing else.

He was referring to this part of the page:

On a stamp like this, I'd want an expert opinion.

huffy,
Your friend seems to have a lot of rarities. Why not get him/her to join this forum?

Huffy,
Without a scan, it is essentially impossible for anyone to give meaningful insight.
Sometimes buying the unknown item and then learning about it is the price for knowledge.
