A Red brown, with that degree of soiling, damage, tears, creases, holes (gaping!) ... 10-20 bucks on good day.

I always imagine these super soiled examples as possibly rare red orange shade, but I think it's the soiling, cancel etc that may give that impression...I believe it's just a run of the mill red brown.

Neglible value in terms of dollars--enjoy it for what it is--a filler until a better copy comes along

Thanks guys! My dad got this stamp a long time ago from a family friend who said when the old New Have PO was being cleaned out these were found along with sheets of them. If only we knew then what we know now....

If you want to get people's attention, track down the family friend and get one of the sheets you mention scanned and posted.
