Well, here it goes. I used a scanner to scan the first page of a Travelers Stamp album I found years ago. I then cropped the pictures. They turned out really good! The unknown is how big it will be when I post it here. I'm on a huge learning curve here and know nothing about stamps other than what I revealed in my introduction as a new member. A little research has already told me the world of stamp collecing is very detailed. In many ways it's very much like any other hobby be it coins, records, postcards or even classic cars for that matter. Some do it for fun and others as an investment. I'm sure it's nothing new to you people in the know. I'm very quickly leasrning to respect the world of stamp collecting, I really had no idea!

Great job!

Now to get the picture to display in your post, you need to do a little bit of editing.

After you uploaded the picture, you got this text inserted into your post:

[b]Image:[/b] [url="https://www.stampcommunity.org/uplo...08222_1.jpg"][img]icon_paperclip.gif[/img] 1.jpg[/url][br]29.06 KB

Delete all the characters before the part that begins with "http",
and all the characters which come after ".jpg", like this:

https://www.stampcommunity.org/uplo...008222_1.jpg

This part is called the "URL" for the image. Now place the URL between image tags like this:

[img]https://www.stampcommunity.org/uplo...008222_1.jpg[/img]

The image should now appear directly in your post, like this:

Now you try it.
