I am obviously very new to the forum because before today I didn't have any stamps! (or so I thought)
I moved over the past month and I've had an old tote that has followed me since I was about 15 years old. Today in order to get the tote into the attic I had to take some things out since it was so heavy. A few things caught my eye, a few signed baseballs Ted Williams, Joe Dimagio and several pages of what seems to be a stamp collectors book.
If anyone can help me to identify these stamps and let me know if I've got anything of value that would be GREAT! With the new house to pay for a little cash goes a long way.
Heres a few pictures of the presidents, theres quite a bit more but these where the first few pages in the book.
All these are commonplace stamps in an ordinary album. A couple of the stamps that have chunks missing will be worthless in the open market. For those that are sound, figure $0.10 to $1 per stamp in most cases. There's nothing here to get you rich and instead you should consider continuing the collection and learning about what you have. It looks like someone had just gotten started. There is a lot to continue here and learn. On the positive side the album appears clean and in good condition to mount more stamps.
