Hi guys. This is not a question of colour as I still dont have a scanner and I have kind of given up trying to guess if something is pink, rose pink or just faded rose ( going to go with a faded 65 on this one). And save up and buy myself a certified pink someday. This has to do with the line (bottom right) where perforations would normally be. Is this likely to be a mark showing where the edge a sheet should be cut? Thanks

These stamps were printed in sheets of 200 that were cut into panes of 100 for distribution. That line is the mark between the two panes. As you can see, they missed with their cut, catching part of the stamp that was in the left column of the right pane. Your stamp would be from the right column of the left pane.

(this is a bog-standard rose. If you want to judge color, start by not putting the stamp on a colored background and compare to the real thing, as scans from different machines and times can look different).

Hi Chipg. Thanks for that info. Ya, the colour rose has me bothered. I have loads of these stamps and they all seem to be 65 and yet the shades are vastly differing.Hard to believe they are are classified the same but so it seems to be.
