U.S. Scott 179 issued June 1875, this stamp is in blue, dark blue, bright blue, light blue and a greenish blue, but not hand colored like that one was. Looks like someone experimented with color changes, probably chemically.

This looks like a child was playing with it. I doubt this was any kind of experiment.

Good use of colors, occasionally stays inside the lines .. I'll give it a 7 out of 10.
