Excuse me, just asking, have viewed other's replies to posts, and they load pictures, how is it done? I cannot locate the green camera button icon on the reply. (I see it only when posting new topic)

And then on other replies, there's the "Quote" block! how is that done?

Thanks for the assist!

Nic, highlight the text you wish to quote and copy (control c), then click on the reply to topic button. When the text box comes up, click on the quote button, which is the second button from the right, on the Format row above the text box (looks like a page with a red arrow). Then paste (control v) the text between the tags. It's that easy.

Steve

Hi,

By the word "control-c" what is meant that you have to hold down the "control" key on your keyboard, you then type the letter "c" while the "control" key is being held down. The "control" key is abbreviated "Ctrl" on my keyboard and is in the lower left corner of the keyboard. The same for "control-v" except you type the letter "v". Control-C is computer short hand for "copy" and control-v is computer shorthand for "paste".

So once you are at the message box to enter your reply, when you click on the "Insert Quote" thingy at the top, it will put something like this in the message box.

[quote][quote]

Click inbetween the two [quote]to put your cursor between them, then do the control-v thing to paste the quote there. SO you should end up with your quote having [quote] on both the front end and tail end of your quote.

You cannot post pics or do quotes from the quick Reply box. You have to click on reply to message to get the message box to open up and enter your message there to have access to posting pics and quites.

Hope this helps.

Dave N.
