Scott US #634 Same Perf Error Top And Bottom

I've identified this stamp as Scott US #634; please feel free to correct me. It appears to be heavy on the ink, and there's the same perf error on top and bottom.

Is this a generic perf error or something special? Opinions welcomed. Thanks for looking!

Broken perforation pins could occur. The rotary press perforator used a drum with horizontal pin rows to perforate horizontal rows combined with a conventional line perforator to perforate vertical rows.

@cfrphoto Thanks for the info. Now I understand why the same missing perf is present on both the top and bottom.
