Sorry about the double post, I was tired.

spock1k, Glad my post helped you with ideas!

bobgggg, I'm tending to lean towards Miss Ghandi, I mean her Goodie's, I mean, ah, her stamps and coins, er, yes, that's what I mean. No, no, what do I mean? I've lost track of whatever it was now. Gee, does anybody else find it hot in here?

What a pleasant smile!

Look spock1k,
A personalized Spanish stamp just now on eBay about Chess! And Napoleon and the other guy. Chess and history and personalized and it looks good too, and art (I think) See, it is popular! I remember seeing a chess stamp from somewhere in the East that had a camel on it (from India or Persia I think) and it reminded me of 'The Eight' book and chess and cryptography and Miss Ghandi and everything!

spock1k,
Thanks! You seem like a nice fellow too!

I would like that, creating an emblem / image. Or perhaps the idea for it. I have limited graphic program capability here. But let me know, if you want, and I will give it a really good go. That would be fun.

This may not be of importance but . . .

I was looking at eBay and noticed that when searching through stamps, when the user has a store, the name of the store past 15 characters is hidden by . . . (dots). Past 14 characters the name wraps to the second line (I may be incorrect here).

Example: Quality Stamps at Fair Prices by user pierrelebel only shows Quality Stamps . . . when you are looking at the list of listings (before you enter his listing or store).

But PERFORATIONS by perforations shows the whole name. I know capitals are yelling but it does stand out better in the outside listings.

I suppose once buyers know your name they would bookmark it or save it somehow and would return.

But it seems like the first 14 characters could be important (first impressions and all that).

Further unnecessary research:
(these are real eBay stores quoted below)

It is 15 characters as

Dick and Tracy's Collectibles (store name) shows
Dick and Tracy . . . in search. (only 14)

Must depend on what word or punctuation is near to the break.

All one word goes to 15 characters:
michaelpughstamps123 shows
michaelpughstam . . .

The Stamp Nook shows
The Stamp Nook (14 characters length, no yelling, nice and tidy)

Guilluame The Philatelist shows
Guillaume The P . . .
(nice historical reference with the name but cut short in his prime.)
(Does have a nice ring to it though.)

Ganges-Joy-and-Beauty-of-India shows
Ganges-Joy-and- . . .

Oh no! There is already a store called pieces of eight, by gum. Selling anything of interest. Hmmm. Pirates ahoy!

Good gracious, did I say that? I think it is bed time. Good night all. Good night Miss Ghandi.

Spock1k, how about:

"Stamp INDIA"

Two words, alpabhetical listing among "Stamp" will place it at "I" the ninth letter... OR...

"Stamp A1 INDIA"

The "A" in A1, will make it first on the "stamp" listings

On a serious note ,I think my earlier suggestion is the best.
It fits all the axioms of good business advertising.
Short,Informative,Self explanatory.
