Who was the first Postmaster General of the United States?
When was he appointed to the post?

The first stamp community member who has collected stamps for less than 3 years and gets both answers right gets the prize!

A Beginner's book-

"Stamp Collecting for Dummies" by Richard L. Sine.

I don't like these titles but the book is a pretty good one!
