Welcome Stampy:

You've found a great place for collectors; if you're new to the hobby (and even if you're not), you'll learn a lot here. There are plenty of friendly and knowledgeable people on SCF.

You're off to a good start -- DO try to get your posts in the "correct" forum and DO use good subject lines. But if you should get a post in the wrong place, don't worry, no one will yell at you. If you've got a conversation that doesn't seem to fit anywhere, just post it in the "Main" forum under General Discussions.

One thing I've noticed is that some new members don't always understand the menu bar at the top of the page. At first, I would suggest you click on "Forum Home" -- this will show you ALL the different forums and content areas on SCF:

Once you feel caught-up on everything, you can use the "Active" button to see only those items that have been updated since your last login. When I introduce a new topic, I usually jump back to "Forum Home" so I can find the best place to post.

Again, welcome to the SCF fold.

KirkS

Duh...

I forgot to answer your question.

The American Stamp Dealers Association has a website you can use to Search for dealers in your area. If you're a topical collector, they also have a Directory: http://www.asdaonline.com

That website will show you only dealers that are members of ASDA.

Some of the other folks here will be able to give you names and/or recommendations of specific dealers. Stay tuned...
