Kim Philby, Nathan Hale and Richard Sorge were all spies. The gentleman on the right, N. I. Pirogov was an exemplary Russian scientist, surgeon and pedagogue.

Gee, from the title I thought there was going to be a Mad Magazine cartoon involving a post office and the Black Spy and White Spy. Maybe a bomb marked return to sender. LOL

Philb gets the bragging rights,
if nothing else, this quiz, I think highlights Nathan Hale
which is supposed to be the surprise. (esp for non US readers)
He, of the quote
"I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country."

(minor bragging rights to 22 crows for the expansion and clarification :)

The red stamped guy. He looks to obvious to be a spy so I don't think he is.
