The mere thought of eating a Barwani stamp fills me with horror.

No, Spock, I couldn't do it. I don't want to have it on my conscience that you died horribly of some frightful disease. I spent a small fortune on vet's bills last time my cat decided my Barwani stamps made an interesting toy.

Mercifully, she started out at the cheap end, and didn't get far before I discovered what was going on. The only loss I suffered was a few uninteresting 1940s revenues.

Now there's a thought for a new thread: Barwani revenues!

I doubt that you would enjoy them though, Spock, with or without condiments. Fairly indigestible, I would have thought. Laid batonne paper, you know ...

No, I can't imagine any circumstances under which I'd eat a Barwani stamp. And I can't imagine any circumstances that would lead any other sane person to do so.

Well, financial considerations aside, I wouldn't want to chomp on any Jammu & Kashmir watercolour-printed stamps.

it will end when every member of this forum has a beautiful glamorous Indian state stamp in mnh in their collection

Spock:

I do not collect mint... only used... but I do have a few lovely Chamba and other Convention States stamps in my KGVI collection.

Now, if you started a thread about used Cochin stamps of the KGVI-era, I'd be there in an instant!
