Complete guess (based on a couple of the symbols): Independent Order of Odd Fellows. So how many guesses does one person get before being told to give up and spend time more productively (say ... creating pages for the already way too many stamps still needing a good home)? |

Wow! Beginner's luck pays off. I've always seen the links with the letters F, L, and T in them (for Friendship, Love, Truth), so that really made unsure. But I know that they (and the Freemasons, my first thought) also use the "all-seeing eye". I have no idea what the other symbols represent, though. bobgggg, do you have any backstory on this charity label? Thanks! |

Hmmm, what do I need to do to send you e-mail. It says the e-mail system is limited to established members (which, I'm admittedly not, considering that I've only been a member for 2 days). |

No, I have no story with this charity label. However, I do trades, with two fine collectors, in Canada. These guys love to throw in a clunker, just to make me spend hours and hours trying to I.D. the stamp.
Philb
Both you and Cajunsr, were eliminated from this contest, because I posted the stamp to another Chat Forum, [ which you both frequent ] and our good friend David, gave the correct ID of the label. |

Bobgggg, Just wanted to let you know I got the stamps. Well, my wife says they came on Monday, but since I was under the scalpel , I just now got to the see them today. They look great, I think I saw maybe one or two duplicates of what I have and that's it. One good thing about surgery: At least I have a few days to just sit around and play stamps. -Lance- |
