Hi Dear Friends
I have these 1 cent franklin stamps where I have measured for perforations on 2cm space and found 11 perforations as you too can see in the image. They both measure 19.25x22.5mm plus. The height of the stamp is definetely 22.5mm for both the stamps but the width is 19.25 for one and probably less than a quarter for the other. Can someone shed some light on this PLease????
Thank You

596 is perf 11 all around, so for your stamps it should be 11 at the sides too, but it is not:

Hi blackcat, and welcome to the forum. As others hae already stated yours is not a 596. To measure the perforations correctly you will need a perforation gauge. Just counting perfs does not work well.
