I have no idea what country this stamp is from. Any ideas? It is one (highest value) of 15 different, all imperforate:

That is an Armenian stamp, but I don't have a catalogue number. That is Mount Ararat in the background.

Thanks to all who helped me on this. Once I found out it was Armenia, I was able to find it in a Scott WW Catalog. I have all denominations in that series, EXCEPT for the higher valued Scott 294.

Interesting note follows the listing, though:

"Except the 25r, Nos. 278-294 were not regularly issued and used. Counterfeits exist."

According to Stanley Gibbons, these stamps were not officially issued without a value surcharge (which yours does not have).
