Wow! I have never seen that stamp John, must have nissed it in the Bulletin.
Yes, well done the Poms, we were well and truly beaten by a better team. I kinda like it now we have a contest, but will always feel uneasy with Greg Chappel as a selector, he does not inspire me at all.
With what we have, I don't see us winning at all in the near future.

David,
Australia's decline started at the WACA right after the sydney test when india beat them since then india are on the way up and ponting is on his way down. BTW did you see the ODI yesterday NZ got 315 india were tottering at 100/4 and then 190/5 asking rate was over 7 in walks yousuf pathan slams a 100 and india win reminds me of the old OZ team :) |

Yeah, Spock, India have a brilliant team now. But the match I'll never forget is the India-Australia one at Kolkota in 2001 when India came back from the dead thanks to Laxman and Dravid.
The SA / India series should be a great one - but I am afraid that India will win . . . |

Maybe... but cricket wins, :) It's just a delight to see men like Laxman and Virender Sehwag, and others of the ilk, bat, and entertain. (test match fan) |

i am not afraid if we win. I am afraid if we lose the 2001 match was epic but it hink the best match of all time was the recent one where the two tailenders along with laxman scored 100 runs and india won. Ponting left never having won a match in india. I wonder if he will be the captain of the world cup team or will they bring michael clarke in. he is the best captain Australia will ever have he has actually won tests in india :) |

well warm beer will help you forget you lost if you have enough of it. 4 more days to go before the title clash. good news is india will retain their number one ranking even if they lose to sa. I cant see them winning unless sreesanth does something |

well we wont lose 3-0 those were just the simulations. if we win 3-0 then we will be in as the number one side for a real long time. after this we go to england and then australia so if we will all3 of those series then here comes world domination :) |

Very impressive John, It's always enjoyable to paddle the Poms. However, beware, they are a lot better than that, I expect a huge comeback. Great bowling by Tremlett and Harris.
I am really enjoying the contest, but disappointed to see Kevin Petersen fail, he is such a fluid batsman, and a joy to watch.
Brickbats to all the gambling advertising, now in cricket.

The gambling is just not cricket.
I have not heard the expression brickbats since I stopped working in my trade.
[quote]I expect a huge comeback They are going to come at us like a nest of wasps on the war path. Edit- My comment is in the quote. |
