Australia's in a lot of trouble. Tomorrow will be the day that decides the over all winner of the Ashes. If Aust can not beat Eng at home the next Ashes contest in England will be an England win as well. |

you know what they say Dear David,
when you dig a hole for others be wary that you dont fall in it yourself as forseene arlier bunny smith ran away as soon as he saw zaheer rather than having his finger broken
maybe tomorrow zaheer will get him out again it will be fun if the underdogs and no hopers here (india) win
now on to the ashes here I hear poor ponting lost 40% of his fees, |

Australia's cricket team is at the beginning of forming a team. While this is taking place Ponting is safe but when the team starts to come good again Pointing is gone. Captain Ponting is only still there to rebuild a cricket team. He is pasted his, used by date, as a player. |

then its in his best interest that the team remains broken he has already made sure he can never play IPL again so unless he wants to retire poor I suggest he start building bridges quickly |

Why good for the game if Oz wins the last test?
It's good for the game for everyone to see that the mighty Oz can be hammered by England - and if England can beat them then anyone can! (When do Bangladesh next play Australia? Now that would be something . . .) |

A quick look here and you will see that they are an up and coming team.....with lots of immigrants in their side. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romani...cricket_teamSince this thread went to sleep in December, England have positioned themselves as the Number 1 nation.....but will there be a stamp to celebrate the fact ? I doubt it. And after the 4-0 thrashing of former leaders India, where is Spock ? Londonbus1 |

Although for us, poor Continental Europeans, everything related to Cricket sounds as Greek (or as Chinese, as we say!) I love this 1973 British set: Sometimes I feel that the old Times headlines: "The Continent isolated by the fog on the Channel" makes sense... |

Interesting link thanks Lb1 let's hope we see them soon, what I like about cricket, is the involvement of young boys and girls in the development stage. I don't know of any other game that offers the same opportunities to instill fair play, teamwork, respect for the opposition, and how to deal with defeat. That's why I loved the old game. The modern game, well I'll leave that to others..
