Here is a recent Irish cancellation from a new area. Cancellation reads IARTHAR NA CATHRACH 01.6.17. The Gaelic name is Iarthar na Cathrach (English = Citywest) which is a recent development near Dublin.

From wikipedia, "Citywest is a suburban development on the southwestern periphery of Dublin originally developed as a 'business campus'...Major companies based at Citywest include Pfizer, SAP, Unilever, Independent News and Media and Eir, who moved their headquarters to the campus."

This WWII German occupation of Czechoslovakia (Bohemia & Moravia) semi-postal stamp bears a bilingual cancellation. Upper part of cancel (German) reads: DUERNFELLERN, and the lower part (Czech) says SUCHE VRBNE. Cancel date is 22.XII.42. Suche Vrbne is an eastern suburb/neighborhood of Ceske Budovice in the Southern Bohemia region of Jihocesky Kraj.

Interestingly, other sources show the spelling of German language version as Dirnfellern. The cancellation version, with the umlauted 'u' replacing the i, is confirmed by the official 1944 Reichspost Ortsverzeichnis I (post office directory). The nazi regime frequently altered the old German names of towns in occupied territories (the 'New Order').

Here is another modern Irish cancel of the 'woven circle' type. It reads LAR BHAILE ATH LUAIN 29. 4. 21. In English, this is Athlone, which is located very near the geographic center of the island.

From wikipedia, "Athlone (Irish: Baile Atha Luain, meaning 'the town of Luan's ford') is a town on the border of County Roscommon and County Westmeath, Ireland. It is located on the River Shannon near the southern shore of Loch Ree. It is the second most populous town in the Midlands Region with a population of 21349 in the 2016 census."

This modern, but older Irish cancel is CEANANNUS MOR 1000 PM 28 IX 67. The English language name is Kells in County Meath, located north of Dublin. Population is 6135 (2016).

From wikipedia: "The town (is) 65 km (40 mi) from Dublin. It is best known as the site of Kells Abbey, from which the Book of Kells takes its name...The settlement was originally known by the name Ceannanas or Ceannanus and it is suggested that the name Kells developed from this...In 1929, Ceannanus Mor was made the town's official name in both Irish and English...Ceanannas has been the official Irish-language form of the place name since 1969. In 1993, Kells was re-adopted as the town's official name in English."

The ever-changing spelling of Irish place names can create a bit of a challenge for one trying to locate and identify them, but it this case it was not difficult.
