Impressive construction purely for bringing water to a city, done by ancient Romans.

I don't have catalogue of Spain, so I am guessing - is it issued under the Nationalist side in the Spanish Civil War era? I might be associated with tough memory from the time with local people..?

Canada has one fifth of the worlds freshwater
which includes hundreds of thousands of lakes.
One estimate is 879,800 lakes another says 2 million.
Ontario alone has 250,000 lakes.

Here is a 1956 stamp showing in a simplified way
two guys on a row boat fishing probably on a lake
but could also be a river.

You want to see some water?
Here is Niagara Falls, Ontario where 5.9 million cu ft of water goes over the crest of the falls every minute.
These Horseshoe Falls are the most powerful falls in North America.

Issued in 2003 as part of a booklet for Tourist Attractions

Below are a couple of pics I took of the Falls last time I was there
which was 2015.

That is amazing!! Chunks of ice made those complicated carvings (engrave?) - the map makes me think about glacier's slow movement. And the Niagara Falls! - I was once in that little (well, proper size in fact) cruiser in the spray, 30 plus years ago. I still remember the water-dense air I breathed. Below are from another country with hundreds of lakes.
