On October 24, 1974 the DDR issued a se-tenant strip of three stamps for Stamp Day. The stamps also publicized the "DDR '74" stamp show held in Chemnitz (Karl-Marx-Stadt, during the communist regime). The strip of stamps shows relief sculptures by state-sponsored artists. The 20 pf stamp (Mi #1989), created by Joachim Jastram (1928-2011) features a seated man playing an accordion.

From Michel, "Details from a plastic ensemble based on poems by Bertolt Brecht (1898-1956), dramatist and poet."

Here is a detail of relief work showing deities/musicians on a very large bronze bell. It is depicted on a 1000 won definitive stamp (Sc #1103) issued by the Republic of Korea on September 20, 1978.

From wikipedia, "The Bell of Sangwonsa is a bronze bell designated as a National Treasure of South Korea. It is located in the Sangwonsa temple in Pyeongchang County, Gangwon Province."
