200th anniversary birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), designed by Karel Svolinsky, engraved by Jindra Schmidt and issued on May 12, 1956:

30h.: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 – 1791) was a prolific and influential composer of the Classical period.

45h.: Josef Myslivecek (1737 – 1781) was a Czech composer who contributed to the formation of late eighteenth-century classicism in music. Myslivecek provided his younger friend Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with significant compositional models in the genres of symphony, Italian serious opera, and violin concerto.

60h.: Jirí Antonín Benda (1722-1795) was a composer, violinist and Kapellmeister of the classical period from the Kingdom of Bohemia.

1Kcs: Bertramka is a villa in Prague notable because of possible visits by Mozart. Now it is a museum dedicated to the memory of Mozart and to the former owners and Mozart's hosts: Frantisek and Josefina Dusek

1.4Kcs.: Frantisek and Josefina Dusek:
Josefína Duskova (1754 - 1824) was a Czech soprano opera singer of the classical period. She was a friend of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who composed several singing pieces for her.
Frantisek Xaver Dusek (1731 – 1799) was a Czech composer and one of the most important harpsichordists and pianists of his time.

1.60Kcs: The Estates Theatre or Stavovske divadlo is a historic theater in Prague, Czech Republic. One of the Estates Theatre's many claims to glory is its strong link with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who conducted the world premiere of his opera Don Giovanni here in October 1787. Also, in 1791, Mozart's La Clemenza di Tito was staged in public here for the first time in celebration of the coronation of Emperor Leopold II.

Czech composers, designed by Karel Svolinsky, engraved by Jindra Schmidt and issued by Czechoslovakia on May 22, 1954:

Antonin Leopold Dvorak (1841 – 1904), a Czech composer. Dvorak frequently employed rhythms and other aspects of the folk music of Moravia and his native Bohemia, following the Romantic-era nationalist example of his predecessor Bedrich Smetana:

Leos Janacek (1854 – 1928), a Czech composer, musical theorist, folklorist, publicist, and teacher. He was inspired by Moravian and other Slavic music, including Eastern European folk music, to create an original, modern musical style:

Bedrich Smetana (1824 – 1884), a Czech composer who pioneered the development of a musical style that became closely identified with his people's aspirations to a cultural and political "revival." He has been regarded in his homeland as the father of Czech music. Internationally he is best known for his 1866 opera The Bartered Bride and for the symphonic cycle Ma vlast ("My Fatherland"):
