Hi all,

An anonymous quote

"The Great White City's last show, the Anglo-American Exposition, opened on 14 May 1914 and was closed prematurely because of the outbreak of the First World War."

Apparently 1 of a set of 10, from 1932. Comes in a variety of colours. Hopefully Vayolene will be able to expand the explanation.

Back to "Beauties of Paris"
Here is a complete booklet in green colour

This booklet exists in five colours (blue/brown/green/red/violet) and was issued by "La Propagande Artistique",a semi-official organization.

Received this return envelope in a solicitation from the Veterans of Foreign Wars (USA) in yesterday's mail. It isn't unusual to have low value 1c -5c stamps on these return envelopes, but this is the first time that I have seen "faux" stamps/cinderellas applied in such a manner.

Back of the envelope gives information where one may research the legitimacy and efficacy of the organization.
