Rod, assuming that the Disney company kept track of its Copyrights on stamps, won't they have this stamp listed somewhere? |

Cheers Rob, I doubt it, there is a veritable jungle out there, of Disney stamps It would be very difficult to isolate. Disney is one area of Philately I avoid, a "Bridge too far" but I was curious as to this stamp / label, as it appears a very early style of Mickey Mouse. It probably is a "stamp tab" to one of the Island issuers "St Vincent of the Grenadines" or the like. |

Here is a circa 1947-50 Czech cinderella showing a Soviet sailor and flag in Port Arthur on the Liaodong Peninsula, Manchuria. Czech inscription says, "30 victorious years of the USSR". From endofempire.asia, "Either by denying Nationalist ships access or by allowing selected ports to fall into Communist hands, the Soviet Union effectively halted the flow of Nationalist troops by sea to many of the most strategic areas in Manchuria. The United States Navy was powerless to help because, under General Order No. 1, access to ports was limited to the country tasked with accepting Japan's surrender. Hence, the United States could not intervene to assist the Nationalists in the Chinese Civil War." |

Poster stamps are a new interest for me (as if I didn't already have enough other collecting interests!). This is one of my favorite recent acquisitions |

^ That is so cool! Quote: Disney is one area of Philately I avoid, a "Bridge too far" I'm generally of the same opinion, but one Disney set that I couldn't resist was the Disney characters as key figures in the Finnish Kalevala, from Redonda: |

Rod, I believe that is Goofy on the Redonda stamp.
If it can be monetized and trivialized, the Disney Corporation will find a way to do it. |

Rod, you were right. Here's the laconic answer I got from Disney. Nice of them to reply, though.
Magical Greetings, Rob
