I was working on hinging DDR last night and came accross some neet ones. I'll try to remember after stamp club tonight.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a map of France, the Rotary International emblem, a modern industrial plant, and a farm scene featuring a tractor, designed and engraved by Raoul Serres, and issued by France on December 23, 1955 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of this business and professional community service clubs organization, Scott No. 742, Y&T No. 1009.

Hi All,

Got three sheets of these in an estate box.
I have no idea what they are or anything about them.
But I figure they must not have printed very many of them since North Dakota has such a small population.
Anyway, I thought I'd share them here.
Unfortunately they are just a bit larger than my scanner window.
Now I'm trying to figure out if I should try to trade them, auction them, or sell them.
It'd be interesting to find something out about them first.

Tractor driver, excavator and farm, designed by Czech artist Viktor Polasek (1911-1989), combined engraved by Jan Mracek and photogravure, and issued by Czechoslovakia on May 5, 1960, Scott No. 983.

I think my tractor stamps are a product of East germany
of a product they were showing in one of the Leipzig Fairs
DLT multi purpose tractor
