Nells250 - Thanks. I really like the design and engraving work on that Republic of China spiny lobster stamp. Now for something shiny: Here is an image of a stamp depicting a species ( Cassis nana) of sea snail commonly called helmet head, printed by lithogravure, and issued by Maldive Islands on January 25, 1975, Scott No. 533. - nethryk |

The Croatian lobster = Lobster (Palinurus elephas Fabricius). Lobsters belong to the family Palinuridae or spiny lobsters (from the genus Palinurus – long-tailed or spiny lobsters). |

In a Croatian restaurant I presume, as it is a European spiny lobster. We have our own very nice rock lobsters in Australia. |

I am a bad New Englander... I don't eat lobster! My boyfriend does, though, and that means good ol' Atlantic Maine lobster. |

Here we eat "land prawns". Thankfully there isn't a bug big enough to qualify as "land lobster". |
