Hi Bas S Warwick,

if you are looking for list of Prehistoric animals on stamps you better go either to
stampedout.nl
or
PaleoPhilatelie at EU domain
stamps_overview.html is extensive table shows all Paleontology related stamps since 1965 an even earlier. Most of the time you will just see an image of the stamp, but there are also quite some stamp description pages.

Enjoy it !

You can see about every stamp depicted Dinosaur & Co on "PaleoPhilatelie" at "EU" web site.

Stamps->Overview

(As I'm still in "trial period" according to some strange rules of the forum I'm not allowed to post any link. )

Nice stamps from Poland !
The first set is the first pictorial stamps depicting prehistoric animals on it, issued in 1965.

BTW, there are nice page about milestones of paleontology related post-items: http://www paleophilatelie eu/stamps_milestones.html

Nice stamp !
Few worlds about: "The dinosaur footprints discovered in Istria on different locations have not been subject to thorough investigation, such as the island of Fenoliga, the island of Veli Brijun, the Cervar Bay, the river mouth of Mirna. The Location on the sea floor south of Rovinj is the only coastal site in Istria and in the Mediterranian basin. 1994 marks the beginning of an interdisciplinary joint research project carried out by the scientists from the Zagreb Institute of Geological Research and experts from institutes and Faculties in Croatia and Italy."
Fossils found location is shown on FDC below.

Curacao 2011 - nice block depicted some prehistoric animals, even though no fossil remains of these giants can be found on the island, though, because at that time a 5 kilometer deep ocean marked the position of the Island to be.
