Here is an image of a stamp depicting a herdsman carrying a kid while gesturing towards the Roman ruins of Sufetula near Sbeitla, containing the best preserved Roman forum temples in Tunisia, designed by Hatem El Mekki (1918-2003), engraved by Georges Bétemps (1921-1992), and issued by Morocco on October 24, 1959, Scott No. 363A.

Jerash is the site of the ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Gerasa. The city was founded by Alexander the Great and his general Perdiccas in 331 B.C. The city flourished until the mid-8th century C.E. The stamp shows a colonnaded street.

Dendera Temple Complex is located about 60 km north of Luxor on the west bank of the Nile. The stamp shows the limestone columns at the entrance to Hathor Temple (380–362 B.C.).

The stamp depicts Trajan's Kiosk, a hypaethral temple located on Agilkia Island. This 15 by 20 meter kiosk is 16 meters high and has four by five columns that are topped by piers.

The Menin Gate Memorial to the Missing is a war memorial in Ypres, Belgium, dedicated to the British and Commonwealth soldiers who were killed in the Ypres Salient of World War I and whose graves are unknown. It was designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield, built by the Imperial War Graves Commission, and unveiled on July 24, 1927. Here is an image of a semi-postal (charity) stamp depicting the Menin Gate, designed by Herman Verbaere (1905-1993), engraved by Henri Decuyper, and issued by Belgium on December 26, 1962, Scott No. B730, plus a photo of the Menin Gate.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting the northern Gateway of Shihr, engraved and printed by Thomas De La Rue & Co., Ltd., and issued for use in Aden, Qu'aiti State in Hadhramaut, in July, 1942, Scott No. 5, plus a photo of the modern restored gate.

Qasr al-Hayr al-Sharqi (aka Kasr-el-Heir) is a castle in the middle of the Syrian Desert, built by the Umayyad caliph Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik in 728-29 CE, which was apparently used as a military and hunting outpost. Here is an image of a stamp depicting the main gate of Qasr al-Hayr al-Sharqi, designed by S. Namani, engraved by French artist Émile Henri Feltesse (1881-1955), and issued by Syria in 1940, Scott No. 281, plus an image of a photograph of the gate.

The stamp depicts Temple of Zeus at Aizanoi, an Ancient Greek city in what is now Kütahya Province. The partially preserved temple with Ionic columns and a Zeus statue was built in the latter half of the 2nd century AD.

The stamp depicts sandstone columns of Temple of Soleb situated on the west bank of the Nile River in Nubia. It is the southern-most temple currently known to have been built by Amenhotep III (c. 1386-1353 BC).
