Received a large parcel from my buddy Di

Never stop learning, this is the way to "swap",
all stamps in glassine by country

Even Japan (the hardest to catalogue) "Japan >2008"
Saves so much catalogue page flipping !

In Aussie lingo, "Onya Di!"

Your package leave Perth on Monday

Nice marker-monkey free stamps.
Do you personally hand stamp them?

Rod I am happy it arrived safely and the stamps are in good condition.

Rob Roy, I get the post office staff to cancel them. So far I haven't encountered any marker monkeys

Today I received a lovely packet of stamps from Dianne Earl. Beautiful stamps on the cover. I like to investigate a country's history through its stamps. There are some on this cover that grab my attention straight away.
Thank You Dianne.

I have an advert somewhere in the ether,

Reads something like "willing to swap up to 5000, the ripped and torn and abused OK, ephemera, revenues, catalogues whatever, send me your junk, no "want lists"

So a few days ago, 5000 arrived in a satchel
I panicked, they were all, you know, definitives, well worn, India, Hungary, etc
No message with email addy.

So I wrote snail mail, explaining I had the majority of the stamps already,
and should I send back?

Turns out, a collector just like me, with 60 albums, worlwide.
"Just pick out what you want, and give the rest away"

I have sent some nice stamps to him , and after going through the mountain of stamps
I'll give them away here. Suitable for beginners.

This morning I received a packet of random stamps from Dianne Earl's Spring Cleaning Give Away. There are plenty of interesting stamps from a variety of places, and the cover they came in is also franked with some beautiful recent Canadian issues:

Many thanks Dianne!

Yes, Dianne is great with swapping stamps.
The covers always get a "Wow" from my Postmistress.

I think she may be a closet hoarder of stamps

Yesterday I received Dianne Earl's stamp shipment. Just from the cover you could tell it was sent by a philatelist: Nice selection of stamps and well-centered cancellation.
Inside, a well-balanced mixture of stamps, not too many countries, just fetch the album and start filling in the new stamps.
Thank you Dianne.
