On this stamp of April 1st, 1939 you see the Belgian king Leopold III with his 3 children, probably a private photo made by the queen.

About one million people of Polish descent now live in France. Here is an image of a stamp commemorating the 50th anniversary of the wave of Polish immigration to France from 1921 to 1923, designed and engraved by Pierre Béquet after original artwork by French painter Raymond Juskowiak (1928- ), and issued by France on February 3, 1973, Scott No. 1358, Y&T No. 1740.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a family of Norwegian emigrants departing from Seljestad station, Hardanger, in 1879, designed and combined engraved by Sverre Morken and lithography, and issued by Norway on June 11, 1999 as one of a set of four stamps commemorating the country's history, Scott No. 1224, Facit No. 1357.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting an injured father at home with his family, designed and engraved by Albert Decaris, and issued by Andorra (French Administration) on September 23, 1967 to publicize the principality's social security system, Scott No. 177. Bonus: Cats.

There have been so many postings of lovely family stamps, but for tomorrow the holy family seems just right. The stamp (semipostal, 1991) has only some of the exquisite detail seen in the original Schongauer painting (can be seen in Berlin).
