Russia 21 February 2014 - Andrei Rozhkov 1961-1998. The first person to scuba dive the North Pole; he died in the attempt.

Vanuatu 2013 Xmas issue has one stamp with Santa diving to the underwater post office to send a mail to Mrs Claus.

Happy Birthday to Jacques-Yves Cousteau (1910-1997), a French naval officer, explorer, conservationist, filmmaker, innovator, scientist, photographer, author and sea life researcher who also co-developed the Aqua-Lung. Here is an image of a stamp depicting a couple of undersea scuba divers, designed by Saint-Pierre artist Pierre Salomon, engraved by Claude Jumelet, and issued for use in Saint Pierre & Miquelon on February 10, 1993, Scott No. 587, plus a photo of Jacques Cousteau in diving gear. Bonuses; Marine mammal, fish, shipwreck, smokers' pipes and whiskey bottle.
