rod222 - Here's one for you: An undated label depicting a dairy farm scene at Boys Town, a village near Omaha, Nebraska, the headquarters of the Boys Town organization, also known as "Father Flanagan's Boys' Home", founded by Father Edward J. Flanagan in 1917, and dedicated to the care, treatment, and education of at-risk children.

Hi Friends!
Today I was making this offer for 1Cent + 3$ postage(which is the required postage for registered mail), but still no one was ready to accept it.. is it because I mentioned that the stamps got struck on the page / or is it because the price you will have to spent for postage is high for this stamp lot.

Ourelephant, I think you should just start a new thread under auctions - not everyone reads all posts, it might get more attention there.

All these pictures of cattle bring back two memories:

my trips in the mid_1950s to the Toronto Stock Yards in transport trucks to deliver cattle. As a youngster my job was to help clean out the trailer after delivery. To this day I can still smell the near-by cynical:
Canada Packers plant that processed meat.

It also evokes memories from my 1960 Agricultural Science class taught by "Tex" Watson, who never saw a picture of a cow breed that he didn't like. Thanks to him I feel like I've seen these pictures before.

Did you mean THE "Tex" Watson the Manson Family member and Serial Killer?

I_Love_Stamps: no connection but "Tex" could be a scary guy for first year students (grade 9) but in later years through to grade 13 he treated his students as adults. He was a great teacher.
