The fourteen-spotted ladybird beetle (Propylea quatuordecimpunctata) depicted on this British computer-vended stamp is a globally distributed species throughout the northern hemisphere.

According to Wikipedia, "There are well over 100 different color and pattern variations. Some differ to the extent that, at first, they were considered separate species."
