THe legend on the Portuguese stamp seems to read 50 years of surrealism in Portugal. I thought the image was one of the machines from War of the Worlds [the movie made in the 1950's, not the modern remake(s)]

Marc Chagall "La Promenade"
When he first came to Paris, Chagall met numerous painters who start surrealism style. Those painters where taking drugs from mushroom to opium to stimulate their creativity and get rid of inhibitions. Sarah and Jacob Tannenbaum who have tried everything start inhaling helium which they were told was very good. So here you see on the stamp Sarah flying; Jacob couldn't hold her. She really flew few hours and finally fell in the moat of Azay-le-Rideau castle where she almost drown.

Trigger,

That stamp block you posted is going to give me nightmares. The more I look at it, the worse it gets.

Where's my holy water when I need it?!

Alright, thats it! I'm putting that block on my "Must Have" list. I've searched for the last post you put that in several times with no luck! Thanks for reposting Steve!
This is a fun topic - I'm sure I may be able to find a head scratcher to contribute around here somewhere...

If anyone knows the backstory to this one I'd be interested. Child safety awareness of some sort perhaps...interesting way to get the message across??

gets the message across, esp the danger of
children playing in the driveways of homes.

I assumed that was the idea behind it, just an interesting way of portraying the thought. Was this part of a set by any chance?
