The Polonus Philatelic Society has been selling exhibition labels since 1940.
At their November 12, 1943 meeting they distributed some very plain labels, all of which had a big black dot in the middle.
One variety had a 1940s Polish label that promoted the use of gold and silver attached. Only 100 of these were sold.
They also issued two other varieties, with two different actual postage stamps attached. Only 25
of each of these were made.
As a result, these particular labels are among the rarest of all philatelic exhibition labels.
It is unlikely that most collectors of these labels have ever seen them before, but now you can.
