Since green is the (unofficial) color of the Esperanto movement, it's featured heavily in Esperanto-themed stamps and covers; see my avatar, for example. Here's a cover from my collection that's particularly relevant to this topic. The rubber-stamped message on the back says, "Long live Esperanto! Use green postage stamps!"
