On April 7, 1960 Iceland issued a two-stamp set of identically-designed stamps to commemorate the United Nations Organization's World Refugee Year. The stamp designer used an artist's rendering of Icelandic sculptor Einar Jonsson's (1874-1954) bronze statue The Outlaw (1901) as the image for the stamp. The higher value 4.50 kr stamp (Facit #375) is shown here.

Here is the 17 centavos value (Sc #407) from El Salvador's 1912 definitive set of 10 stamps. Stamp depicts the Gerardo Barrios equestrian statue in San Salvador.

From wikipedia, "The monumental statue in the center of the plaza, dedicated to president Gerardo Barrios, was made by Francisco Durini and inaugurated in 1909. The statue, cast in bronze, shows an equestrian statue of the military leader. The statue is placed on a pedestal of granite that shows battle scenes cast in bronze and the coat of arms of El Salvador."
