This post brought back many happy memories for me.
My grandmother loved St. Anthony. Here is a picture of her
little shrine that she kept above the kitchen sink.
Whenever she lost something, she would close the doors on the
shrine until the missing article was recovered.
On a side note.......If anyone knows of where to buy
these shrines, I would love
more information. The one in the
picture belongs to my sister now
and I would love to have my own.)
My grandmother used to always use the SAG stamps
on her letters to us. I saved all the letters, but
unfortunately, not the covers.
I wrote to the Franciscans asking if they still had
the stamps, and they graciously sent three sheets.
They are now stickers, though, instead of actual stamps.
