Gadime Cave was karstified from a Mesozoic limestone formation during Tertiary time. The cave is known for large stalagmites on the floor and multicolored stalactites dripping from the ceiling.

Chelmos – Vouraikos Geopark consists mostly of strongly karstified limestone formation, which produces sinkholes, caves, lakes and springs. The stamp shows Cave of the Lakes, a cave of over 2 km long with 13 underground lakes.
