The earlier post was right, non royals are more difficult to find. Here are two Australian stamps with Royal Couples. The Duke and Duchess of Glouscester  And that other Duke, and the Missus  Note how this Royal Visit stamps also sports a Royal Visit cancel. Just sayin'. |

Carol I (1839-1914), born Prince Karl of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, was the ruler of Romania from 1866 to 1914. Pauline Elisabeth Ottilie Luise zu Wied (1843-1916), widely known by her literary name of Carmen Sylva, was the Queen consort of Romania as the wife of King Carol. Here is an image of a stamp portraying the royal newlyweds in 1869, printed by photogravure, and issued by Romania on April 10, 1939 to commemorate the centenary of Carol's birth, Scott No. 479. - nethyrk  |

Edgar Aubert de la Rüe (1901-1991) was a French geographer, geologist and world traveler who made several visits to the Kerguelen Archipelago. Here is an image of a stamp depicting the geographer and his wife, Andrée (1903-1990), designed and engraved by Eugène Lacaque, and issued for use in French Southern and Antarctic Territories on January 2, 1995, Scott No. 205. From Poland, 1977, the Folklore set, we have Scott 2225, the illustration of a mountain wedding dance, & we can assume the happy couple in the centre is the new husband & wife  |

France Frédéric and Irène Joliot-Curie June 26, 1982 Jean Frédéric Joliot (1900 - 1958) was a French physicist, and Irène Curie (1897 - 1956) the daughter of Marie Curie and Pierre Curie, was a Freach scientist. Frédéric and Irène hyphenated their surnames to Joliot-Curie after they married on October 4, 1926 in Paris, France. The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1935 was awarded jointly to them in recognition of their synthesis of new radioactive elements.  |
