Here's a notorious couple, lengthy tumultuous courtship, stormy ill-fated marriage....
US Scott #2446 from 1990

Now for a real life couple, although here we have royalty again: Ferdinand II of Aragon (1452 – 1516) and Isabella, Queen of Castile (1451 – 1504) shown on US Sc. 238, from the 1893 Columbian issue, sitting on their thrones listening to Columbus announce to them his discoveries.

In the 1993 American Music Series, there was one that depicted the Carter Family (Sc.2773)
A. P. Carter, his wife Sara Carter, and his sister-in-law Maybelle Carter were pictured. That'd be Maybelle at the left with the guitar in hand. Sara usually played autoharp.
