Boy I sure messed up on the above post...didn't check my work after posting.

Hope this will make up for it:

jomic,
This is becoming chronic.
You can go back and "edit reply" your errant posts, rather than make additional ones.
It is also important to remember to name ALL of your files with different names. (i.e. check your work before posting too.)

A diminutive 1899 cover from The Kingston Fishery Co. in Kingston Jamaica to the Diamond Match Co. in New York City.

It is 58mm x 46mm (2.23in x 1.81in) with a resulting cover area of 26.7 square centimeters.

With the tagline "FRESH FISH EVERY DAY" this may be the smallest known advertising cover.

John Becker...yes it is becoming chronic; notice that the two pics that were errant were posted 12/12/22, back before you scolded me the first time. I have learned now, thanks to you, to rename my new scans.

Can you fix dementia? If not, why not laugh at me and make a post/s saying jonmic-3139 you need to fix this or that or this or that!

I love SCF and would love to continue to be a member in good standing, but if you and others like you want me off of here, I will bow out gracefully, still allowing my contribution of $10 a month, that I just initiated this morning, stand.

John

I thought I was able to!

Jomic, One of the challenges of written posts, rather than having a spoken conversation, in the lack of tone. Short posts can come off cold. I tend to be brief. In no way was there any suggestion that you should cease participation. I hoped the last two lines of my previous post would be taken as instructional to make your image postings more successful and bring you up the learning curve a bit on them. I had not noticed the time-lag of your 2 consecutive posts in this particular thread, but seem to recall there had been recent mis-posts in some other recent threads, so thought it might be helpful. Anyway, let's go onward with small envelopes!

Scruffy but 3.25" (I have removed any cover more than 3.5" from my tiny cover collection so I can keep it in one binder).
