The souvenir sheet issued in 1977 by the People's Republic of Congo shows Lindbergh & the Spirit of St. Louis over a ship in the Atlantic . SC 426. Interestingly the picture on the Central African Empire stamp forms part of this souvenir sheet's design. |

Lindbergh and the Spirit of St Louis are featured on this 75c stamp of Grenada issued in 1978.

 Souvenir sheet from the same issue commemorates two events: 50th anniversary of Lindbergh's solo trans-Atlantic flight and 75th anniversary of the Graf Zeppelin. |

Panama issued two stamps to commemorate Lindbergh.  They were actually printed by the Canal Zone. |

I have a couple of completely clean sheets of the Panama Lindbergh stamp that appears in a couple of places in this thread (the red stamp on smauggie's card). I am not a collector but am curious how to find out how much the sheets might be worth. The top of the sheets says "MR 8484 - Panama Canal Press - 1-6-28 - 300,000" Can anyone help? Thanks!  |
