On April 10, 2003 Germany issued this semi-postal charity stamp (Mi. #2331) to benefit philately in the country. The stamp's theme is 75th anniversary of the first east-west North Atlantic flight. The flight was made by Hermann Koehl, Ehrenfried Guenther Freiherr von Huenefeld, and James C. Fitzmaurice on the 12th and 13th of April, 1928 in a Junkers Vu33 nicknamed Bremen
