Here is an image of a semi-postal stamp depicting a 1900 postman collecting mail from a columnar mailbox near the Dufayel Department Store in Paris, along with a fashionably-dressed couple about to mail a letter in the background, designed and engraved by Pierre Forget, and issued by France on April 8, 1978 for Stamp Day, Scott No. B511, Y&T No. 2004.

here is a stamp sheet of India issued in 2005 showing mail boxes from the Victorian era to modern day mail boxes. Also can see the uniforms of postal employee in the past and present.

Voyager - Thanks. I'm glad you enjoy the special beauty of intaglio engraved stamps too.

Here is an image of another stamp depicting a fancy antique mailbox, used in Madrid in 1908, combined engraved by Antonino Sánchez Gutiérrez and lithogravure, and issued by Spain on March 12, 1993 for Stamp Day, Scott No. 2699, Edifil No. 3243.
