I do think that himself (Lomdonbus1) has shown the London buses before but there is no Bus thread persee. Good thread choice!

I was going to make a personal stamp of a Metro Transit Halifax bus next to a bus shelter ad for Canadian National train safety at railway crossings showing a big locomotive. Gone now the poster is. Lost opportunities! Hmmm, maybe Photoshop to the rescue?

I would like to show this block of double-deckers from singapore, the stamps are from 1997 definitives. The bus shown is the Volvo B10TL, also known as the Superbus, with ultralow floor, & with no steps at the exit door, it is easy to get off from.

This is one of those stamps that just about every Finnish collectors 'loves' as it's a great looking piece. Additionally, finding minor color shifts is extremely easy making the variants plenty.

The Ikarus 280, a long, jointed bus is depicted on this stamp of private courier Citykurier of Jena, Germany. This model was quite popular in central Europe. It was produced in Hungary, and was manufactured for 30 years. One of the first postings on this thread features the Ikarus 280, but it is not identified as such.

The title has "London Bus" but ne'er a one to be seen. So here is a real London Bus, followed by its father and then its grandfather.
