Here is an earlier Finnish stamp (Facit #733) featuring Hugo Simberg's Girl with Lamb painting. It is the .30 + .05 markka value (Facit #733) of the September 12, 1973 anti-tuberculosis, semi-postal set of three stamps.  |

On August 5, 1981 New Zealand issued a set of three "Health" semi-postal charity stamps depicting young people fishing and exploring tidal pools. Two of stamps show (SG #s 1250-1) show bare feet in the sea.  |

This September 4, 1989 one koruna value (Sc #2755) of Czechoslovakia is from the four-stamp set commemorating the 12th Biennial Exhibition of Book Illustrations for Children, which was held in Bratislava. Stamp depicts Bulgarian illustrator Aleksander Aleksov's Donkey Rider.   |

Japan Sumo Ukiyoe (woodcut prints) Series top: 1 July 1978 / Yokozuna Hidenoyama Raigoro (1808 - 1862) by Toyokuni (1769 - 1825) middle: 11 November 1978 / Gyoji (referee) Kimura Shonosuke and Yokozuna Ounomatsu by Kunisada (1786 - 1865) bottom: 10 March 1979 / Takemuma v.s. Iwamigata (same Rikishi as Hidenoyama, above) by Kuniyoshi (1798 - 1861)    In the second set, sumo referee "Gyoji" is wearing their socks "tabi" and sandals. |
