Here is an earlier Finnish stamp (Facit #733) featuring Hugo Simberg's Girl with Lamb painting. It is the .30 + .05 markka value (Facit #733) of the September 12, 1973 anti-tuberculosis, semi-postal set of three stamps.

On August 5, 1981 New Zealand issued a set of three "Health" semi-postal charity stamps depicting young people fishing and exploring tidal pools. Two of stamps show (SG #s 1250-1) show bare feet in the sea.

This September 4, 1989 one koruna value (Sc #2755) of Czechoslovakia is from the four-stamp set commemorating the 12th Biennial Exhibition of Book Illustrations for Children, which was held in Bratislava. Stamp depicts Bulgarian illustrator Aleksander Aleksov's Donkey Rider.

In the second set, sumo referee "Gyoji" is wearing their socks "tabi" and sandals.
