Here is an image of a stamp depicting a deer in a fold, designed by Danish artist Palle Pio (1917- ), engraved by Czeslaw Slania, and issued by Denmark on May 28, 1970 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Jægersborg Dyrehave (deer-park), Scott No. 468, Facit No. 520.

The spotted deer, on a 1 Anna stamp from Bhopal, issued 1940 (SG O345)



and some photographic essays for the same issue (the other stamp in this set was a ½ Anna depicting a tiger):



No indication of who prepared the essays, but most likely they were the work of T.I. Archer.
