The American Philatelic Society is sponsoring the 3rd annual YouTube Philatelic Video Competition. The contest will run from February 1 to May 31, 2012. Entries will be judged by three accredited American Philatelic Society judges in June, and winners will be announced in July.

Prizes - Videos will be recognized as an overall champion, plus four categories: youth (under 18), adult, APS Chapters and Clubs, and a professional category – to include stamp dealers. The prize for the overall Champion will be $250.00 and the winner of each category will receive $50.00.

Speaking of the APS, here is a link to the Handbook, which is a much better introduction to the American Philatelic Society than the various spread-out pages on the website:
